Overview

Dr Nicole Rölike specialises in financing, in particular syndicated loans, acquisition finance and project finance. Special areas of interest include the new reference rates and international contract and civil procedure law.

Another key area of her activity is in ESG. She is a member of the Linklaters ESG team and coordinates the German ESG knowhow. Her particular focus is on Sustainable Lending and Transition Finance.

 


 

Professional experience

Nicole joined the Linklaters Banking practice in 2002 and became a Managing Associate in 2004. Since 2006 she has been predominantly engaging in knowledge matters. In her knowledge function, she became a Senior Associate in 2016 and a Counsel in 2023.

Education and qualifications

Nicole studied law at the Universities of Freiburg and Hamburg, where she obtained a German PhD degree ("Dr").

She holds a Diplôme Supérieur de Droit Comparé of the University of Strasbourg and an LL.M. of the London School of Economics.

She speaks German, English and French.
