Linklaters advises Mondi on the sale of its Personal Care Components business to Nitto
Linklaters advised global packaging and paper company Mondi plc. (Mondi) on the sale of its personal care components business (PCC) to Japan-based Nitto Denko Corporation (Nitto). PCC, which comprises a wide range of components for personal care and household products, is to be carved out from the group.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, with completion expected to take place in the second half of 2022.
Mondi is a leading global packaging and paper group employing around 26,000 people in more than 30 countries. Headquartered in Vienna and London, the Group is listed on the London Stock Exchange and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and it is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
Nitto is a leading international manufacturer of tapes, vinyl, insulation and other products, headquartered and listed in Japan.
