Linklaters advises on Sammaan Capital’s qualified institutional placement of shares in India

Linklaters advised the book running lead managers on the US$150m qualified institutional placement (QIP) of shares for Sammaan Capital (formerly Indiabulls Housing Finance), the third largest private housing finance company in India. 

The offering saw strong demand from investors including marquee investors such as US-based investment firm Capital Group and London-based hedge fund Marshall Wace, underscoring the market robustness and the investment opportunities in the Indian capital market. 

Sammaan Capital is a mortgage-focussed non-banking financial company, with a strong nationwide presence with over 200 branches, offering home loans and loans to MSMEs and small businesses for working capital.
