Linklaters advises on the financing for BPEA EQT’s acquisition of PageUp
Linklaters advised the arrangers and lenders on the syndicated senior acquisition debt financing for the private acquisition by global investment firm BPEA EQT of PageUp from existing majority owners, Battery Ventures. PageUp is an Australian-founded global leader in SaaS talent acquisition, recruitment marketing, and talent management solutions
The investment, made through its BPEA Fund VIII (managed by EQT Private Capital Asia), further builds on BPEA EQT’s experience in supporting market-leading Asia Pacific-based software businesses to capture global market opportunities.
Founded in 1997, PageUp now delivers its cutting-edge talent acquisition and recruitment marketing software to top-tier corporates, universities, hospitals, and public-sector customers worldwide via offices in Australia, North America, and Europe.
The Linklaters team was led by banking partner Alessandro Nolet, with support from counsel Douglas Doherty as well as solicitors Simon Ni and Lucas Chan. The cross-jurisdictional team also included New York-based banking partner Philip Lee, tax counsel Amanda Gabai and senior US associate Hwan Choi.
