Overview
Anna is a senior lawyer with more than 15 years’ post-qualification experience, which includes various aspects of real estate and construction law. She is responsible for managing large-scale transactions, has been representing a wide range of private and state-owned banks and companies and has extensive expertise in construction and real estate law, project finance, energy & infrastructure and environmental matters.
She was featured in the Best Lawyers’ Ranking in 2013-2021 as a leading real estate lawyer in Russia.
Work highlights
A selection of Anna’s recent experience includes advising:
- bp on its acquisition of the 50.03% interest it does not already own in Lightsource bp, one of the world’s leading developers and operator of utility-scale solar and battery storage assets
- INEOS on the development, construction and multi-sourced financing of a greenfield world scale chemical cracker and PDF project in North West Europe
- on the £1.465bn acquisition of a 25% stake in SSE plc's electricity transmission network business
- Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in connection with its acquisition of 49% equity interest in Kassø Midco ApS in Denmark, an affiliate of European Energy A/S and the holding company of the world's first large-scale commercial e-methanol project
Education and qualifications
Anna studied law at the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade (Moscow) and obtained a PhD in international investment law from the same institution. She also holds an LLM in Banking and Finance Law from Queen’s Mary – University of London.
Anna speaks English, French and Russian.
