Katy is a managing associate in our investment funds team and has experience across a broad range of sectors, including in real estate, private equity and venture capital work, assisting with both transactional and advisory matters for a wide range of clients.

Work highlights
  • Aermont Capital: advising on the:
    • establishment of their fifth-generation opportunistic €3.78bn real estate fund, and previously fourth-generation €2bn European-focused opportunistic real estate fund.
    • establishment and the closings of their first GP led secondary vehicle/ continuation Fund, PGV SCSp (PGV). PGV is a long-term vehicle created to acquire and grow Pinewood Group (Pinewood). 
  • A US real estate asset manager: advising on the formation of a global open-ended real estate focussed fund of funds.
  • A European insurance company: advising on their open-ended value add real estate fund.
  • British Business Bank: advising the UK government’s economic development bank on its cornerstone investments into a number of private funds investing in the venture capital space.
  • Sovereign wealth funds and pension funds: advising on their investments in a range of real estate, private equity, venture capital and debt funds.
  • Nexus Point: advising on the raising of their first Greater China buyout fund and related co-investments. 
  • A number of banks: advising in relation to their compliance with AIFMD.
