Nick has over ten years’ experience advising infrastructure funds, portfolio companies, commercial bank lenders and institutional investors on the financing of energy and infrastructure assets across the core and core plus asset classes. He specialises in infrastructure acquisition finance, holdco finance and multi-source common debt platforms.

Work highlights

Nick’s experience includes advising:

  • VTG, an international rolling stock leasing and rail logistics business, on the refinancing of its debt portfolio into a common debt platform.
  • Macquarie Asset Management and BCI on their cash offer for Renewi PLC.
  • Telecom Infrastructure Partners on its refinancing.
  • IFM Investors on the acquisition financing in respect of its public offer for a minority stake in Naturgy.
  • West Street Infrastructure Partners (a Goldman Sachs Asset Management fund) on the financing of its P2P acquisition of Frøy ASA.
  • Cory in relation to the development and financing of the Riverside 2 energy-from-waste facility located in Belvedere, South London.
  • The lenders to TagEnergy on its holdco financing.
