Dr. Sophie Kruppa

Sophie specialises in advising and representing national and international companies on all issues of individual and collective labour law. The main focus of her advice is on employment law issues relating to transfers of undertakings and restructurings.

• AURELIUS: advising on the sale of Distrelec Group to RS Group with an enterprise value of approximately €365m.
• Carrier: advising on the €12bn acquisition of Viessmann Climate Solutions.

• CLARK: advising on the acquisition of finanzen Group from Allianz X.

• Körber: advising on the sale of the Tissue Business Area to the Finnish technology and services group Valmet.
• Mondi: advising on the sale of its global Personal Care Components business to Japan’s Nitto Denko Corporation, including on the carve-out and reverse carve-out as well as on various collective bargaining issues.
• Porsche / Volkswagen: employment law advice on the IPO of Porsche AG.
• Vodafone: advising on the strategic partnership with GIP and KKR and the contribution of its stake in Vantage Towers to the joint venture.

Sophie studied law with a focus on employment law at the University of Cologne and Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She completed her doctorate in the field of employee leasing law at the University of Cologne.

She speaks German and English.
