An Introduction to Yankee Bonds

Linklaters Capital Markets practice in Paris has put together an “Introduction to Yankee Bonds” publication and is delighted to share it with you.

Yankee bonds are debt securities denominated in US dollars (USD) that are issued by non-US entities. With almost half (40%) of all Yankee Bonds being issued being from Europe over the past five years in 2021 (France being the 3rd largest issuer in Europe and 6th worldwide), there is clear potential for discussion about these type of bond issues.
