Overview

Anne-Elisabeth regularly advises companies in relation to antitrust related investigations and cases before the French Competition Authority and the European Commission (horizontal agreements/cartels, vertical agreements), on merger control, and State aid.

Work highlights

Anne-Elisabeth has also developed an expertise since the adoption of the Foreign Subsidies Regulation:

  • Nestlé in various acquisitions such as the acquisition of the Bountiful Company in the vitamins and supplements market, the creation of a joint venture between Nestle and PAI Partners for frozen pizza, its minority acquisition in IVC Evidensia, and various investments in funds.
  • Engie on the acquisitions of several renewable energy production assets.
  • Air France before the European Court of Justice following the fine imposed in the air cargo case by the European Commission.
  • Several clients during dawn raids, at EU and national level, and assisting them during the following procedural steps.
  • Several clients on the set up of their distribution networks, under EU regulations and also under the French loi Lurel in overseas territories.
  • A client in the context of its appeal before the Conseil d’Etat against State aid provided to a competitor.
  • Several multinational companies in relation to the Foreign Subsidies Regulation and their notifications before the European Commission under the merger and public procurement tool.

Professional experience

Anne-Elisabeth joined Linklaters in March 2019. Anne-Elisabeth spent in total one year on secondment with the Nestlé Global Antitrust team in 2020 and 2022 in Switzerland.

Prior to joining Linklaters, Anne-Elisabeth completed internships in other leading international law firms based in Paris and Brussels and at the European commission (State aid unit).

Education and qualifications

Anne-Elisabeth did an LLM in competition law at King’s College London and an LLM at the Humboldt university of Berlin in European business law and comparative law. She did her bachelor in law at Paris II.

Anne-Elisabeth is fluent in French, English and Spanish, and also speaks German.
