Overview
Fabian is specialised on corporate and commercial law advice for international clients on domestic and international M&A transactions, joint ventures and restructurings. He is passionate about the hydrogen and datacentre sectors.
Work highlights
Transactions of significance where substantial involvement can be disclosed have included advising:
- BlackRock: advising on the acquisition of 50.1 percent in Mainova WebHouse forming a joint venture for the development of data centers in the Rhine/Main region
- A US based data centre developer: advising on several hyperscale projects in the Rhine-Main area.
- Unilever: advising on the sale of the tea business to CVC Partners
- US investor: advising in connection with the development of data centers in the Rhine-Main region and Europe
- AP Ventures: Financing round of Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies GmbH.
- A number of major international banks: advising on their reorganisation in light of and in preparation for Brexit.
- Unilever: advising on the separation of its baking, cooking and spreads business and on the subsequent sale to KKR.
- A French premium drinks conglomerate: advising on the divestment from its German distribution joint-venture.
Professional experience
Fabian joined Linklaters in 2007 and was elected Counsel in 2023.
Education and qualifications
Fabian studied law at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and Freie Universität Berlin. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University Dundee in Scotland.
He speaks German, English and French.
