Julie Sharp

Julie is a counsel in the employment department. She has extensive experience advising on the employment law issues in large-scale, complex and often international corporate transactions in corporate and financial services sectors. She also regularly advises on corporate restructuring activities, including large-scale outsourcings. She advises employers on employment law issues for directors and senior employees including their appointment and termination.

Work highlights

• Advising BP International Limited on its acquisition of the 53.03% interest it does not already own in Lightsource bp: in particular on arrangements with founders, carving out employees and businesses from the sale and secondment arrangements.
• Advising on numerous outsourcing and change of contractor arrangements for clients including changes in pensions administration providers, IT and other professional services.
