Overview

Queenie has extensive experience in Hong Kong initial public offerings (IPO), pre-IPO investment, cornerstone investment, post-IPO equity financing and M&A transactions, and Hong Kong listing rules compliance. 

She advises a broad variety of issuers and listings in Hong Kong with a particular focus on the new economy sectors, including the listings of pre-revenue biotech companies under Chapter 18A, issuers with weighted voting rights (WVR) and VIE structures, as well as in dual primary listings, secondary listings and spin-off listings. She was seconded to the Listing Division (IPO Vetting) of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

  • Hong Kong IPOs or listings by way of introduction including Chenqi Technology (also known as Ruqi Mobility), RoboSense Technology, Kuaishou Technology (third HK-listed company with weighted voting rights structure), JD.com, Kanzhun (also known as BOSS Zhipin), Maoyan Entertainment, iDreamsky Technology, China Literature, Sipai Health Technology (also known as Medbanks), Medlive Technology, Recbio Technology, Harbour BioMed, Hansoh Pharmaceutical, China Resources Pharmaceutical, and Fosun Pharmaceutical.*
  • M&A transactions involving listed issuers such as BOCHK’s HK$68bn sale of Nanyang Commercial Bank to Cinda Financial, BOCHK’s HK$7.7bn sale of Chiyu Banking Corporation to Xiamen International Bank, the establishment of Livi VB Limited (a virtual bank established by BOCHK, JD Digits and Jardines), and CK Infrastructure’s joint venture formation and acquisition of ista Luxemburg GmbH.*

Education and qualifications

Queenie obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hong Kong. She completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the University of Hong Kong. 

Queenie is a qualified solicitor in Hong Kong SAR. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
