Overview
Lena specializes in international and national information and data protection law, telecommunications and IT law. She has particular expertise in contract and competition law issues of digitalization, especially data governance, data access law, digital contract law and digital platform markets. Her advisory practice regularly includes data protection projects, outsourcing transactions including cloud and the accompaniment of M&A transactions from the perspective of IT and data protection law.

Education and qualifications
Lena studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and the University Paul Cézanne in Aix-en-Provence (France), before completing her legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, including positions at Linklaters in the Corporate Law/M&A team, at the European Commission in Brussels in DG Justice, and at the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. After completing her second state law examination, Lena worked as a doctoral candidate and research assistant at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society and the Humboldt University of Berlin, respectively.
She speaks German, English and French.
