Overview

Nadia is an Associate in the Employment Group of the Lisbon Corporate Department.

From the outset her legal practice has focused on Labour Law, advising clients on employment and social security matters, including the hiring of key-employees and top executives, corporate restructuring procedures, transfer of undertakings, employment contract termination, as well as employment litigation.  

Nadia advises national and international clients such as banks, investment funds and corporate clients that operate in various sectors such as the financial, IT and telecom sectors.

Nadia joined the Lisbon office of Linklaters in 2024 as an Associate in the Employment Group of its Corporate Department.
She started her legal career with a Summer Traineeship at local law firm Sousa Ferro & Associados in 2021. She then joined local law firm Macedo Vitorino Associados in 2021 as a Trainee Lawyer, where she became a Lawyer in 2023, working in Employment Law, M&A and Dispute Resolution matters.

Nadia volunteered for the non-profit association Associação Bairros, providing training on sickness leave, unemployment subsidy, and other employment and social security matters to the people within the organisation that assist homeless individuals with social (re)integration.

Education and qualifications

Nadia holds a Law Degree of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2021) and attended the Postgraduate Course in Employment Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.

During her time at university, Nadia worked part-time as a Sales Assistant in retail, and was very active, both nationally and internationally, in the students association of the Faculty of Law and in ELSA, furthermore participating in various Model UN and Model EU events, and in Moot Courts on EU and Employment Law.

She is a fully qualified Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2023.

Nadia speaks Portuguese, English and Romanian.
