Overview
Sinan is an Associate in our global Antitrust & Foreign Investment practice and based in Dusseldorf. He specialises in German and European competition laws, including merger control as well as all other aspects of competition law. Also, Sinan comprehensively advises on foreign investment control including proceedings under German foreign trade law. He represents clients before the German Federal Cartel Office, the European Commission and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action as well as German and European Courts.

Sinan joined Linklaters in 2024 as an associate.
Prior, he already worked as a law clerk in the antitrust practice of Linklaters and as a research associate in the antitrust practice of another international law firm.Education and qualifications
Sinan studied Law at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.
He completed his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamm with stages, inter alia, at Linklaters’ antitrust & foreign investment practice and the third decision division (health and chemistry) of the German Federal Cartel Office.
He speaks German, English, Turkish and French.
