Linklaters advises Mirova on its investment in Baltic Storage Platform, an energy storage joint venture in Estonia
Linklaters has advised Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers and a leading French asset manager, on its investment in “Baltic Storage Platform”, an Estonian-based energy storage joint venture between Corsica Sole, an independent producer of solar energy and a European leader in energy storage, and Evecon, a leading developer of renewable energy in the Baltics.
Mirova’s investment, channelled through its dedicated energy transition fund “Mirova Energy Transition 5”, will help facilitate Baltic Storage Platform’s planned rollout of two high-capacity battery storage plants totaling 200MW/400MWh in Estonia by 2025, and contribute to the energy independence and the grid stability of the Baltics.
The Linklaters transaction team was led by Warsaw-based counsel Christopher Quinn and partner Patryk Figiel.
