MiFID II: ESMA consults on investment research

ESMA has published a consultation paper on amendments to the research provisions in the MiFID II Delegated Directive, following changes introduced in the MiFID II Level 1 text by the Listing Act, which introduced an option for buyside firms to make joint payments for investment research and execution services. The consultation closes on 28 January 2025.
