Linklaters advises Brookfield Infrastructure on its £4bn recommended offer for HomeServe plc
Linklaters has advised Brookfield Infrastructure on its £4 billion recommended offer for HomeServe plc, the home repairs and emergency services group with businesses across the UK, US, Europe and Asia. The deal is one of the largest offers for a London-listed group this year. The transaction is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
The cross-practice Linklaters team was led by financial sponsor partners Jessamy Gallagher and Chris Boycott, alongside John Tsui, Matthew O’Connor and William Bibby, managing associates. Leveraged finance partners, Edward Aldred and Thomas Waller led the financing of the transaction alongside associate Marie De Vreese. Natura Gracia and Mark Daniel led on the anti-trust and foreign investment aspects of the transaction. The team also included Cara Hegarty, Rachel Morgan and Stephanie Creese (employment and incentives), Jean Price (financial regulation) and John Sheppard (pensions).
