Overview
Bianca is an Associate in our global Antitrust & Foreign Investment practice and based in Dusseldorf. She specialises in German and European competition laws, including merger control as well as all other aspects of competition law. Also, Bianca comprehensively advises on foreign investment control including proceedings under German foreign trade law. She represents clients before the German Federal Cartel Office, the European Commission and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action as well as German and European Courts.

- A German financial investor: advising on various acquisitions in several sectors, including home textiles, structural and civil engineering and stamping technology, and related merger control proceedings at the German Federal Cartel Office and numerous international competition authorities.
- A leading real estate developer: advising on a merger control filing with the European Commission in relation to a portfolio investment.
- TION Renewables: advising on the acquisition of a majority shareholding by EQT Active Core Infrastructure.
- TricorBraun: advising a leading packaging company on the German merger control proceeding in respect to its acquisition of the company Gläser & Flaschen.
- Advising a company on an ongoing cartel investigation by the EU Commission, including comprehensive internal investigations, coordination of parallel investigations in the UK and USA.
Professional experience
Bianca Grujcic joined Linklaters in 2021 and was appointed to Associate position in 2022.
After graduating and before starting her legal traineeship, she worked for seven months as Legal Support on an extensive antitrust damages case for one of Germany's leading law firms.
She is a member of the German Antitrust Law Association (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht e.V.).
Education and qualifications
Bianca studied law at Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen and Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. She completed her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court in Düsseldorf. As a trainee lawyer, she conducted a stage at the Third Decision Division (Health and Chemicals) of the German Federal Cartel Office.
She speaks German, English and Croatian.
