Jonas has specialist experience in German and European data and IT law. He has particular expertise in data protection aspects of new technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence).

Jonas has been working at Linklaters since 2024.

Education and qualifications

Jonas studied German Law at Saarland University. He also completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Commercial Law at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. He completed his legal traineeship at the Saarbrücken Court of Appeal and at the Linklaters office in Frankfurt.
He speaks German and English.

Jonas regularly publishes articles in German and English language journals and handbooks. Recent publications include:
