Michelle Lo

Michelle works on a variety of corporate and private equity tax matters, including complex U.S. and cross border acquisition structures, mergers, dispositions, liquidations, bankruptcy restructurings, debt and equity offerings, securitizations and financing transactions. Michelle has extensive experience on a variety of corporate tax issues, including tax-free reorganizations and spin-offs as well as taxable acquisitions and dispositions, in both domestic and cross border transactions.

Michelle works with clients from a wide range of sectors, including mining, oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, insurance and financial services. Prior to joining Linklaters, Michelle gained extensive M&A tax experience as a manager at a Big 4 accounting firm.

Michelle studied economics and Chinese Studies at Swarthmore College, and holds a Juris Doctor and a Masters of Law in Taxation from the Northwestern University School of Law.
