Linklaters has advised the Trustees of the De Beers UK Pension Scheme on an £870m full buy-in with Pension Insurance Corporation plc, a specialist insurer of defined benefit pension schemes. The transaction secures the pensions of 473 deferred members and 1,464 pensioner members of the Scheme, which is sponsored by De Beers UK Limited.
