Linklaters advises Barclays, Deutsche Bank and ING on Atos’s €233m rights issue
Linklaters has advised Barclays as global coordinator and Deutsche Bank and ING as joint bookrunners in connection with the capital increase with shareholders' preferential subscription rights launched by Atos for a gross amount of €233 million.
Atos’s rights issue took place in the context of a complex financial restructuring which includes notably the conversion into equity of €2.9 billion of existing financial debts and the receipt of €1.5 billion of new preferred financings and new equity. The accelerated safeguard plan has been approved by the specialized Commercial Court of Nanterre on October 24, 2024. The rights issue has been partially subscribed by participating creditors and bondholders as a result of the exercise of backstop commitments.
The settlement-delivery of the new shares and their admission to trading on Euronext Paris occurred on December 10, 2024.
