Linklaters Advises Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Itau BBA, J.P. Morgan, and Santander on Vista Argentina's $600 Million Bond Issuance
Linklaters represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Itau BBA USA Securities, Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, and Santander US Capital Markets LLC in connection with the inaugural Rule 144A/Regulation S cross-border offering by Vista Energy Argentina S.A.U. (Vista Argentina) of $600 million 7.625% senior notes due 2035. The offering launched on November 26, 2024, priced on December 4, 2024, and closed on December 10, 2024. The notes are expected to be listed on the Bolsa y Mercados Argentina S.A. (BYMA), and admitted for trading on the BYMA and on the Mercado Abierto Electrónico S.A.
Vista Argentina is a leading shale oil-focused company engaged in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas in Argentina. Vista is the third-largest oil operator in Argentina, and the second-largest in Vaca Muerta, the most extensive shale oil and gas play under development outside North America. The issuer is a subsidiary of Vista Energy S.A.B. de C.V., a Mexican publicly traded corporation with shares listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange and ADSs listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
