Linklaters advises the VALOREM Group on a refinancing of nearly €200 million for a 143 MW portfolio in France
Linklaters has advised the VALOREM Group, a leading French independent renewable energy producer and a pioneer in wind power in France, on its global refinancing of a portfolio of solar and wind assets in France, with a total installed capacity of 143 MW.
This portfolio includes 12 solar photovoltaic farms and 8 onshore wind farms, spread across metropolitan France, with a notable concentration in the north and south of the country.
Structured around a new senior debt of nearly €200 million, this refinancing enables the VALOREM Group to consolidate its financial structure, finalise the repayment of crowdfunding financing raised as part of the CRE solar AO, stabilize its long-term commitments, and release resources to expedite the commissioning of future renewable energy projects.
The Linklaters team involved in this transaction included François April, Partner, Noémie Lisbonis-Boyer, Mylinh Pham, Managing Associates, and Sarah Pupin, Associate, from the Energy and Infrastructure team. The team is completed by Cyril Boussion, Partner in Tax Law, Marie Belle, Associate in Tax Law, and Sophie Weiss, Managing Associate in Structured Finance.
