Linklaters advises on Chifeng Gold’s HK$2.82bn HKEX debut
Linklaters acted as the Hong Kong and US counsel for the sole sponsor and the underwriters on the global offering and successful listing of H shares of Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining Co., Ltd. (Chifeng Gold) on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), raising approximately HK$2.82bn. This IPO represents the third “A+H” gold stock on the HKEX.
Chifeng Gold is a fast-growing international gold producer, mainly engaged in the mining, processing and sales of gold globally. As the largest non-state-owned gold producer with leading growth in gold production and revenue in China, Chifeng Gold owns and operates seven gold and polymetallic mines across the world, including China, Southeast Asia, and West Africa.
