Linklaters announces Simon Branigan as new Global Head of Corporate
Linklaters has appointed corporate partner Simon Branigan as Global Head of Corporate succeeding Aedamar Comiskey who is now the firm’s Senior Partner-Elect. Simon begins his new role on 1st July.
Simon joined Linklaters in 1998 and became a partner in the firm’s London office in 2009. He has extensive experience advising corporates, financial institutions and investment trusts on mergers and acquisitions (both public and private), joint ventures and equity capital markets transactions. He has been involved in some of the most complex and high-profile multi-jurisdictional transactions spanning the mining, retail, consumer, and oil and gas sectors. Simon also has extensive experience in the financial services sector and has been the co-head of the firm’s bank sector.
