Linklaters is first ever law firm to achieve Beacon status in 2021 Parental Fog Index
Linklaters has been awarded Beacon status – the highest scoring available – in the 2021 Parental Fog Index, recognising firms that are transparent about their support for working parents.
The Index, which is compiled by Executive Coaching Consultancy (ECC), ranks The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers based on evidence that they understand and support the needs of working parents. The rankings run from ‘Invisible’ through to ‘Beacon’ status. Linklaters is the first law firm to achieve a Beacon ranking.
Linklaters is committed to be an employer of choice for working parents, championing best practice policies, support and benefits, combined with a culture of agile working for all. In January 2020, Linklaters introduced New Parent Leave in the UK, where any employee whose partner is having a baby, adopting a child or becoming a parent through surrogacy (regardless of gender or gender identity) will be offered twelve weeks’ paid leave which can be taken at any time during the first 12 months from the arrival of their child.
