Overview

Conrado is a capital markets partner in Linklaters' New York office and co-head of the Latin America practice. He has over 30 years of experience in cross-border corporate finance transactions with a focus on Latin America and Spain.

Conrado has advised issuers and underwriters on securities placements in the U.S. and in the Euromarkets by sovereigns, banks, companies, borrowers, lenders and agents in bilateral, syndicated and structured banking facilities. He has also been involved in numerous debt restructurings and liability management exercises, and in acquisitions and disposals of companies and assets.

Conrado has been recognized in Chambers Latin America 2023. Clients commented that "Conrado is experienced and a patient partner who analyzes every single detail of the deal." Conrado is also ranked in Euromoney’s Banking, Finance and Transactional 2022 Expert Guide under Capital Markets, which recognizes individuals considered by peers and clients to be the best in their respective fields in the legal industry.

  • Dealer managers: advising in the debt restructurings of the Provinces of Mendoza and Neuquén in Argentina as well as in exchange offers for Telecom Argentina, YPF and CGC following the country´s 2019-20 sovereign default
  • The Republic of Chile: advising on four bond issues totalling US$4.25bn of “green” and “social” bonds, issuer under the country´s “shelf program” registered with the U.S. SEC
  • The joint bookrunners: advising on the IPO of Corporación América
  • Issuers: advising on the follow-up offering of shares by Banco Macro S.A.
  • The joint bookrunners: advising on a US$1bn international bond offering and simultaneously cash tender offer by YPF S.A.

Conrado received a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School.
