Friederike studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls- Universität in Heidelberg and at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster. She also completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Fordham School of Law. She completed her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt.
