Pierre is an associate in the Antitrust & Foreign Investment Group of Linklaters in Paris.
He advises on all aspects of EU and French competition law, including antitrust proceedings, private enforcement litigation and merger control.
His expertise covers a wide range of industries, with a focus on energy, healthcare, and consumer goods.
Work highlights
Recent significant matters in which Pierre has been involved include advising:
- McKesson on the acquisition of part of its European business by Phoenix in 2022. This complex transaction was cleared both at European and national level in phase I.
- Peugeot Group on its merger with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in 2020. The new entity, Stellantis, has become the world’s fourth largest car manufacturer in terms of volume and the third largest in turnover. This matter was awarded the GCR Award for Matter of the Year in 2021.
- Ardian on its acquisition of exclusive control over Géosel, a strategic oil products storage facility in the South of France.
- ENGIE on the acquisitions of several renewable energy production assets.
- Several multinational companies in their private enforcement litigation before French courts.
- Various clients on the update of the vertical block exemption regulation and its consequences for their business model.

Education and qualifications
Pierre has been a member of the Paris bar since December 2021. He holds an LLM in international business law and management (HEC Paris), a Master 2 in European law (University Panthéon-Assas), and a degree in French and English law (University of Bristol – study abroad / University of Bordeaux).
