Overview

Rick is part of Linklaters' Corporate M&A practice in Stockholm and mainly focuses on public M&A, capital markets and private equity. He also regularly advises on private M&A matters, general corporate law matters as well as contentious matters for listed companies

Rick’s clients include international and domestic private equity firms, financial institutions, investment banks and private equity firms as well as corporate clients.

  • Thomson Reuters: advising on its SEK 8.1 billion recommended public takeover of Pagero.
  • Akelius Foundation: advising on public takeover offer for Akelius Residential Property’s D shares, valuing Akelius Residential Property at over EUR 12 billion.
  • Akelius Foundation: advising on its SEK 6.73 billion acquisition of Akelius Residential Property’s 10.52 % stake in Castellum.
  • Akelius Foundation: advising on its SEK 1.68 billion acquisition of Mellby Gård's 24.4 % stake in AcadeMedia.
  • Ørsted: advising on its partial divestment of eMethanol developer FlagshipONE to Breakthrough Energy Catalyst.

Education and qualifications

Rick holds a Master of Laws degree from Lund University. Rick spent one semester abroad as an exchange student at the University of Sydney in Australia where he took courses in international business and cross-cultural management.

Rick speaks Dutch, Swedish and English.
