The traditional leasing model in England and Wales is under attack. In our latest Talking Points article, Hannah Day and Tabitha Pople examine how the nature of the institutional lease is changing at a time when tenants (retail in particular) are demanding ever more flexible terms –  as ever, the challenge is finding a balance which works for both sides.
