Linklaters advises an entity of Żabka Group on the acquisition of undeveloped real estate and a general construction agreement for a logistics centre near Łódź

Linklaters has advised Żabka BS sp. z o.o., an entity from Żabka Group - one of the most recognizable brands in Poland, on the acquisition of undeveloped real estate and subsequently on a general construction agreement for a warehouse and production facility near Łódź.

The general construction agreement was entered into with Dekpol Budownictwo sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of Dekpol S.A. The net remuneration for its execution amounts to approximately EUR 35 million.  Under the agreement, based on the “design and build” formula, a warehouse and production facility spanning approximately 42,000 sqm will be constructed. The facility will include freezers, cold storage, a dry zone, as well as social and office spaces. 

The planned logistics centre will be the ninth facility in the Żabka Polska logistics network, enhancing the servicing of stores in central Poland.

The transaction was led by Bartosz Boenigk (associate), supported by Joanna Roman (associate) and Piotr Śnihur from the Warsaw real estate practice. Tomasz Trystuła (managing associate) supervised the transaction.
