Overview
Michael Brock is the COO of the firm’s global U.S. practice and is as an Associate Director of the firm’s Global Business Leadership team. He is based in the New York office. Michael’s focus is on executing the Firm’s strategy in the Americas and across the global U.S. practice which is key differentiator for the firm – we are investing in practices that drive and augment the global platform and that drive strategic client relationships for the firm.
Michael is responsible for the day-to-day operations in the Americas region, which includes oversight across New York, Washington D.C. and São Paulo offices of the Administration, Business Development & Marketing, K&L, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Partner Recruiting and Real Estate functions.
Prior to his current role, Michael worked in Linklaters’ London office from 1995-1999 and previously for a managing agency in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market.
Michael is involved in the 30% Club, the HeForShe global campaign and active fund raiser for the Memorial Sloan Kettering cancer center.
Education and qualifications
Michael studied law at Cardiff University.
