Overview

Anna is an associate in Linklaters’ Global Antitrust & Foreign Investment practice. She advises clients on antitrust/competition and regulatory issues related to cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on U.S. merger control and analysis and compliance under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act. 

Anna also advises clients in connection with national security reviews of foreign investments in U.S. businesses and represents domestic and international clients before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and other U.S. government authorities responsible for cross-border investment controls.

Anna is an active member in various internal groups, including Linklaters’ Pride Network and U.S. Sports Sector.

  • Novozymes (Denmark): advising on its US$12.3bn merger with Chr. Hansen Holding.
  • Novartis (Switzerland): advising on its US$3.2bn acquisition of Chinook Therapeutics.
  • Perfetti van Melle (Italy): advising on its US$1.35bn acquisition of Mondelez’s gum business in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
  • WSP Global (Canada): advising on its US$1.8bn acquisition of the environment and infrastructure business of John Wood Group.
  • Körber AG (Germany): advising on its US$1.31bn acquisition of Siemens Logistics’ global mail and parcel business.
  • Worldwide Flight Services (US): advising on various transactions in the air cargo and ground handling industry, including WFS’s acquisition of Mercury Air Cargo.

Education and qualifications

Anna holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and was a member of the American University Law Review. She obtained her B.A. in International Studies from American University.

Anna is a member of the District of Columbia bar.
