Jurian is a Managing Associate in the Tax practice in the Linklaters’ Amsterdam office, and specialises in the domestic and the international tax aspects of private equity and M&A transactions and the (tax) structured financing of these transactions.

Work highlights

  • Cerberus European Investments, LLC: leading the tax structuring and advising on the internal financing strategy for the acquisition of a largeportfolio of loan receivables from Intrum AB.
  • E.ON SE: advising on the acquisition of all shares in Equans Energy Solutions B.V. operating the Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage business in the Netherlands in an competitive auction process from Equans Netherlands N.V.
  • Cerberus European Investments, LLC: leading the tax structuring and structuring for co-investors for the acquisition of 100% of the shares of VeloBank SA, a leading global bank based in Poland.
  • I Squared Capital: advising on its €1.29bn acquisition of TIP Trailer Services.

Professional experience

Jurian studied law at the University of Amsterdam and University of Utrecht and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Dutch law and Dutch tax law as well as a Master’s degree in International and European tax law. He also gained a Master’s degree in Chinese civil and commercial law from Peking University.
