Overview

Sean is an associate in Linklaters’ Corporate/M&A group. He has experience representing clients in a variety of cross-border corporate transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and internal reorganizations, as well as on entity formation and corporate governance.

Sean is committed to pro bono service, where he focuses on immigration matters. He also serves as co-chair of the firm’s Americas Jewish Affinity Group, L’chaim@Linklaters.

Work highlights
  • Aperam S.A.: advising Aperam, a global leader in stainless and specialty steel solutions, on the agreed acquisition of Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: USAP) in an all-cash transaction for US$45 per share. The transaction values Universal Stainless & Alloy Products at an enterprise value of approximately US$539m.  
  • Vanadium products company: advising a Canadian company which provides vanadium-based products and materials on its agreed joint venture with an American company which produces lead, lithium and vanadium batteries. 
 

Professional experience

Sean previously worked as a summer associate at Linklaters in 2022.

Prior to joining Linklaters, Sean worked at a solo practitioner’s office that focuses on immigration law. 

Education and qualifications

Sean holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he served as an associate editor on the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law.

He also holds a Certificate in Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from Fordham University.

Sean is fluent in Russian.
