Overview
Sersha specialises in arbitration, with a particular focus on international commercial arbitration.
She has represented clients in a broad spectrum of commercial disputes, including those relating to M&A, shareholder arrangements, derivatives, banking and finance and construction projects.
Sersha has represented clients in arbitrations under all the major institutional rules and also advises on High Court litigation arising out of arbitrations.
Sersha was seconded to Linklaters' Paris office in 2017 – 2018.

- Advising a boutique bank on an ISDA dispute.
- Advising a global private equity firm on a shareholder dispute.
- Advising a bank on a EUR 2bn loan dispute relating to the financing of a major refinery.
- Advising a global bank in relation to a joint venture dispute.
- Advising a mining-sector client on a commodity trading dispute.
- Advising an energy-sector client in English High Court litigation arising out of a foreign-seated arbitration.
Education and qualifications
Sersha studied Law at the University of York. Before pursuing an education in law Sersha attended Boston College in the United States for two years, where she studied English, Biology, Political Science and Fine Art.
