The EU Listing Act has been published in the EU Official Journal on 14 November 2024.
The EU Listing Act is part of a wider package of reforms aimed at progressing the EU’s Capital Markets Union and making it easier for companies to list equity on EU public markets.
It will amend (in particular) the Prospectus Regulation and the Market Abuse Regulation and will be relevant to all market participants, including both debt and equity issuers. Some changes will apply from 4 December 2024 and others are phased-in.
