Alistair is a Partner in the corporate department who has experience in cross-border public and private M&A transactions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations with a focus on the energy and infrastructure and healthcare sectors.
Alistair has particular experience advising on the acquisition and disposal of renewable assets.

- Ørsted on the sale of a minority interest in the FlagshipONE e-methanol project to Breakthrough Energy Catalyst
- Equitix on the acquisition of a stake in Viridor Energy, one of the UK's largest recycling, renewable energy and waste management companies
- Equitix on the acquisition of a 50 per cent. interest in a portfolio of eight offshore wind farms from Macquarie Asset Management
- CPPIB on the sale of its entire stake in Arqiva to Digital 9 Infrastructure
- CPPIB on a long-term strategic partnership with Octopus Energy Group with an initial $300 million equity investment
- Ørsted on the sale of a 50 per cent. interest in the 1.3GW Hornsea Two offshore wind farm to AXA IM Alts and Crédit Agricole Assurances
- McKesson Corporation on the sale of its UK pharmacy distribution and retail business (Lloyds Pharmacy) to Aurelius
- The Gavi Alliance on the conception, design and implementation of the COVAX Facility
- G4S on its recommended £3.8bn cash offer from Allied Universal and its takeover defence against a hostile offer from GardaWorld

- Equitix on its acquisition of Aurora Infrastructure, an operator of electricity distribution networks in Finland, from InfraVia Capital Partners
- Norfund on its investment into a 420MW solar power plant in India developed by Enel
- G4S on the sale of the majority of its conventional cash handling businesses to The Brink’s Company for an enterprise value of £727 million
- Innogy on the sale of a 41 per cent. interest in the 860 MW Triton Knoll offshore wind farm project to J-Power and Development Bank of Japan (acquiring a 25 per cent. stake) and Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. (acquiring a 16 per cent. stake)
- A consortium of Dalmore Capital and PiP on the acquisition of a 49 per cent. interest in EDF Energy Renewable Limited’s UK wind generation portfolio comprising 24 wind farms with a total capacity of approximately 550 MW
- Macquarie Capital in relation to two simultaneous disposals of its entire 12.5 per cent. indirect interest in the 580 MW Race Bank offshore wind farm
- Macquarie Capital on the sale of their entire 12.5 per cent. indirect interest in the 353 MW Galloper offshore wind farm
- Reliance Industries on the disposal of its 76 per cent. stake in its East African petroleum retail and distribution business, Gulf Africa Petroleum Corporation
