Conrad is an international M&A and corporate lawyer with a proven track record of 20 years’ experience in international corporate work and M&A commercial cross-border transactions.

Recent transactions and matters of significance where his substantial involvement can be disclosed include advising: 

• Telenor ASA on its auction bid for Polkomtel, the operator of the Plus mobile network and one of the main telecommunications companies in Poland
• Swedish Match AB on its cross-border division merger with Scandinavian Tobacco Group AS
• the American NYSE-listed corporation Hershey on a high-profile deal aiming at the purchase of the best-known Polish chocolate producer, Wedel, in an auction bid triggered by the European Commission
• the biggest Nordic banking and capital group, SEB AB, on the restructuring of its Polish operations, involving the disposal of its holdings in a Polish listed bank and disposal of its entire wealth management, including asset management and private banking business, as well as the acquisition of a new factoring business
• the Finnish corporation Vapo Oy on several acquisitions within the bio-energy sector
• Elkem AS (then Orkla Group) on the acquisition of a microsilica business in Poland
