Asad Ahmed

Asad Ahmed is a counsel in our corporate department in London who specialises in equity capital markets. He has advised both corporate and investment banking clients in connection with equities transactions.

• IPOs and listings on which Asad has acted include: Airtel Africa, Aldermore, Allfunds, ASA International, Bakkavor, Bank of Cyprus, Cambian, ContourGlobal, Convatec, Countryside Properties, Finablr, Forterra, Made.com and Trustpilot. 
• Recent secondary offerings on which Asad has advised include ASOS, Beazley, Bovis Homes, Brait S.E., Costain PLC, Elementis, Galliford Try, Gold Fields, Nationwide, Prudential, Saga, Sanlam, Segro, SSP Group, Stobart, The Restaurant Group and TP ICAP. 
• Asad has also advised on secondary placings in shares of Autotrader, Bid Corporation Limited, Countryside Properties, Gamma Communications, Glenveagh, Just Eat, Microfocus and Royal Bafokeng Platinum. 
• In addition, during his secondment to the equity capital markets team of a leading investment bank, Asad advised on a range of equities transactions including the IPOs of Poundland, Energa and Grupo Lar, cash box placings by G4S and Interserve, and secondary placings in shares of Hellermann Tyton, ASOS and Crest Nicholson.
