Professional experience
Aviva has a strong commitment to pro bono work, which centres around the key themes of civil rights and international human rights. She has devoted significant time to representing an inmate currently on death row, including by drafting appeals briefs in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Aviva has also assisted in the drafting of amicus briefs relating to refugee rights on behalf of the American Jewish Committee in the US Supreme Court and US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Prior to joining Linklaters, Aviva worked for a nuclear disarmament organization, the Israeli Fund for UNICEF, and the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv. She also interned with the US Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey.
