Aviva is an associate in Linklaters’ dispute resolution group, where her practice focuses on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations, complex commercial litigation, and cross-border regulatory compliance. Aviva regularly advises companies on a broad array of issues, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the False Claims Act, securities enforcement, US economic sanctions, anti-money laundering laws, and data privacy and security laws. Aviva also frequently advises companies on developing and implementing corporate compliance programs and in conducting pre-acquisition due diligence.

Aviva has a strong commitment to pro bono work, which centres around the key themes of civil rights and international human rights. She has devoted significant time to representing an inmate currently on death row, including by drafting appeals briefs in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Aviva has also assisted in the drafting of amicus briefs relating to refugee rights on behalf of the American Jewish Committee in the US Supreme Court and US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Prior to joining Linklaters, Aviva worked for a nuclear disarmament organization, the Israeli Fund for UNICEF, and the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv. She also interned with the US Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey.

Aviva holds a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where she was the captain of Fordham Moot Court’s national competition team.
