Dr. Isabelle-Carmen Weis

Isabelle-Carmen works in the field of banking and specialises in complex financing. Her particular focus is on real estate financing and restructuring. She advises (international) banks and alternative lenders as well as borrowers and financial investors.

Since 2022, Handelsblatt has listed her in its Best Lawyers Ranking as a "lawyer of the future" in the field of banking and finance law as well as in the field of real estate law.

• Brookfield: advising the underwriters on the public takeover of alstria office REIT-AG.

• a Luxembourg based core fund: advising on the NAV financing/Hunting Line to (pre-)finance Propco level acquisitions in the UK and Europe.

• a US based data centre developer: advising on the financing of several hyperscale projects in the Rhine-Main area.

• a global investment and securities bank: advising on various structured and loan-on-loan real estate financings in Europe.

• real estate funds: acting for various real estate funds (as sponsors and as lenders) on various senior and mezzanine debt financing of European real estate assets.

Isabelle is working with Linklaters since 2014 and was appointed as Counsel in 2024.

Isabelle studied law at Goethe-University Frankfurt where she later earned her doctorate. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from King's College, London.
