Jakob Hambert

Jakob is an associate within the M&A Corporate practice in Stockholm. Jakob advises clients on various matters in relation to Swedish commercial law in areas such as professional liability, contractual damages and employment. Clients include international and domestic financial institutions, private equity firms and other corporate clients. Jakob was previously part of the Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice in Stockholm and has therefore also experience of handling disputes and investigations in various legal fields.

• An international real estate company in relation to work environment liability under Swedish law
• An international technology company in relation to questions regarding Swedish procedural law
• A Swedish real estate company in arbitral proceedings in relation to commercial contracts
• An international restaurant chain in court proceedings in relation to contractual damages

Jakob started his career at Linklaters in 2020 as a Summer Associate and joined the firm as an Associate in 2022.

Jakob holds a Master of Laws from Uppsala University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Stockholm University.
