Giving formal expression to social mobility – Solicitor Apprenticeships at Linklaters

September 2023 marked the start of a new chapter in Linklaters’ long-term plan to put social mobility front and centre in its overall strategic commitment to diversity and inclusion as eight young budding lawyers reported to Silk Street to begin their six-year Solicitor Apprenticeships with Linklaters while studying for their law degrees.

With the first anniversary of the initiative almost in sight, Patrick McCann, and Malcolm Horton, the progress of social mobility across the legal profession and emphasise the rigour with which it is deployed at Linklaters on the  alumni website.
