Linklaters advises Lhyfe on its IPO on Euronext Paris
Linklaters has advised Lhyfe, a French pure player specialized in the production of green hydrogen, on its initial public offering on the regulated market of Euronext in Paris. This IPO will result in a capital increase of approximately €110 million, which may be increased to €124 million if the over-allotment option is fully exercised.
Born from a project launched in 2017 by Matthieu Guesné, Lhyfe is a pioneer in the production of green hydrogen from renewable energy and aims to become a European leader in this sector. Green hydrogen is made from water electrolysis: a totally decarbonized production process consisting of separating the hydrogen and oxygen atoms from the water molecule thanks to renewable electricity.
The Linklaters team was led from Paris by Bertrand Sénéchal, partner, Clément Moine, managing associate, and Lisa Bartoli and Tristan Joguet-Sauvage, associates, in charge of capital markets aspects. Luis Roth, partner, and Victoria Bourke, managing associate, were involved in the US aspects. François April, partner, Samuel Bordeleau, counsel, Arani Chakrabarty and Thibaud Troublaïewitch, managing associates, advised on energy and infrastructure matters, and Pierre Guillot, partner, advised on public law matters. Cyril Boussion, partner, Nadine Eng, managing associate, Lucille Cazala and Philippe Ludwig, associates, oversaw tax matters. Jean-Charles Jaïs, partner, was involved in litigation matters and Delphine Monnier, associate, in corporate matters.
The London and New York offices were also involved in the case.
