Linklaters advises the banking syndicate on Bouygues’ dual bond issuance
Linklaters has advised the banking syndicate composed of Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, Crédit Agricole CIB, Natixis, BNP Paribas, CIC Market Solutions, La Banque Postale, Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, BBVA, CaixaBank, Commerzbank, MUFG, NatWest Markets, SMBC and UniCredit Bank on Bouygues’ €2 billion standalone dual-tranche bond issuance.
The first tranche of €1 billion bears interest at 2.250% and has a maturity of 7 years and the second tranche of €1 billion bears interest at 3.250% and has a maturity of 15 years.
The net proceeds of the issue will be used primarily to refinance the term loan facility taken out by Bouygues in December 2021 in the context of the acquisition of Equans, a company specialized in multi-technical services.
